Vroon Offshore operate a diverse fleet of 32 Emergency Response and Rescue Vessels (ERRVs) which are all UK-flagged and predominantly operate in the UK sector of the North Sea . In recent years our vessels have worked in French, Dutch, Norwegian and Irish waters.
All ERRVs offer a 'good prospect of recovery and rescue' to offshore installation personnel that they are contracted to support.
| They are required to respond to any incident within two minutes and can have up to five persons rescued from the sea and taken to a place of safety within 20 minutes when supporting planned over-the-side work from manned platforms and rigs. |
 |
In addition they are capable of recovering and caring for the entire complement of personnel on each installation. The ERRV also acts as a reserve radio station in case installation external communications fail.
We are the eyes and ears of the offshore workforce we support, constantly ready to respond to any emergency situation and protect life in all but the most severe of weather conditions.
Offshore workers take comfort and security from seeing the vessel close by, monitoring activities, and knowing that the crew are ready to respond when things may go wrong.
